NEWS: August 4, 2019:

Jeff produced/directed and completed the 47-minute documentary MAKING UP MY MIND: SEARCHING FOR JIMMY LYONS in July 2019.

Trailer: MAKING UP MY MIND: SEARCHING FOR JIMMY LYONS (2019) from JMG Films on Vimeo.

The film is a Documentary-Noir-Mystery about Jimmy Lyons: a jazz artist and playwright who writes lyrics that spin a linguistic opus of love, family, existentialism, politics, planetary consciousness, myth, and meaning. Lyons was also a performer, boxer -- and was part of the Actor's Studio in NYC in the 1960's alongside Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, and Timothy Carey. Jimmy Lyons remains an unsung creative force in American culture whose moment on the planet has arrived for a global audience.

The 10-Minute Short Documentary “Charles Curtis Blackwell” will play at Assim Vivemos: Brazil’s International Disability Film Festival, in September 2019.
